Carolina Peraca started a BA Product Design course in Brazil, but moved to London after 2 years. She fell in love with Ceramics during her Foundation course. Being able to make tangible objects drives her explorations.

She is inspired by her travels around the world and the natural and angular shapes she has found during them. Her work focuses on the beauty and simplicity of form and functionality. Often she creates a collection of objects that can be combined as a whole or stand up on their own.

The materials that Carolina enjoys working with are porcelain and bone china as she loves their fired colour. Her colour palette of soft muted shades works perfectly with these bodies.
