My ceramics work as my journal that is recording my development of conceptual thinking for my design ideas and making techniques in different stages. My inspiration always comes from everyday life experience. I like to share my interesting experience I have gained throughout my life. My work’s aim is demonstrate how I feel and what I like relates to my projects. My work frequently reflects on my background, and my aesthetic seems to be influenced by my own culture. But it also shows my experiences from my new life when I started school in England. So that it has given me more confidence on my design, which it is more interesting to use contemporary sense with my oriental culture.
